The IRON SHARPENS IRON Conference Network is made up of individual ministries that are willing to act interdependently to most effectively offer local churches a first class resource for men.

2013 Keynote Speakers

Shaun Alexander

“I am a Christian who loves the Lord and just happened to have played football,” Shaun says, “that happens to get me on cool TV shows and commercials. I am a Godly man first. I chase after God. I played football for the sole reason of giving God Glory.” In 2005, he won the league’s Most Valuable Player award thanks in part to his 28 touchdowns and leading the league in rushing. That’s not all, he’s the only player in NFL history to score 15 or more touchdowns in five straight seasons. And, in addition, how about this one? He is the only one to ever score five touchdowns…in one-half!

Nevertheless, this is one humble superstar. “My life scripture is Psalms 37:4, ‘Delight yourself in the Lord, and He’ll give you the desires of your heart.’ It is just a reminder to me to take joy in what God’s doing in your life. Take joy in learning about Him every day because He delights in us. “You’re never gonna be perfect,” says Shaun. “But you’re always gunning for it. “[There] is only one way to do it, and that’s the way the Bible says it,” Shaun says. “That’s the way Jesus Christ showed it and lived it, and that’s it.”

Larry Jackson

Bishop Larry Jackson is the founding pastor of Bethel Outreach International Church in Charlotte, NC. He currently serves as a regional bishop for the Fellowship of International Churches and the Vice President of Strategic Planning. He has also ministered across the nation and internationally as a keynote speaker in conferences conducted by Global Harvest Ministries, Harvest Evangelism, Generals of Intercession, Men At The Cross, Promise Keepers, and other ministries.

Bishop Jackson is the founder and president of Frontliners Men’s Ministries, a ministry designed to bring men to the front lines of what God is doing. Larry also had the pivotal role in establishing Unified 2000, a ministry designed to break down the denominational and racial barriers that divide the body of Christ. This ministry began with the pastors and city leaders meeting regularly for prayer. As a result of this prayer ministry, Fayetteville and the surrounding communities experienced revolutionary changes. Larry continues this effort as he travels to neighboring states presenting to pastors a point-by-point strategy for reaching their cities.

He is the author of several books including Numbered with the Transgressors, Guilt Free Living, The Power is in the Closet, and Beyond Reconciliation.

Bishop Larry Jackson is a man who is in passionate pursuit of the Father. His zeal, energy and fortitude speak of his wholehearted commitment to the Lord. He and his wife, Joanndra, currently reside in Charlotte, NC, with their daughters.

T.C. Stallings

T.C. was born in Cleveland, Ohio. He began performing at a young age in school and church plays. At age 12, T.C.’s passions shifted to the game of football. After stunning football campaigns in both high school (Bedford High/Ohio) and college (University of Louisville/KY), T.C. went on to play professionally in the Arena, Europe, and Canadian leagues.

Following his success in athletics, T.C.’s desires shifted to a career in film and television. He auditioned and immediately landed a spot on “King of the Jungle”, a reality show on the family oriented network “Animal Planet”. A few years later T.C. competed in the AMTC (Actors, Models, and Talent for Christ) and was a finalist for Best Overall Male Actor. Following this, T.C. landed the role of “T.J.” in the hit movie “Courageous” which was his major motion picture debut.

He regularly travels the country as a speaker and has been licensed in ministry since 2003. As he joins us in Charleston he will be speaking and challenging men to be a player on God’s team. He will share his inspiring testimony as he talks about his rough childhood and his incredible journey of faith trusting God for what He had planned. T.C. is married to Levette Stallings and has two children.
