Jerry Boykin joined what would become the world’s premier Special Operations unit—Delta Force—in 1978. The only promise: “a medal and a body bag.” What followed was a .50 caliber round in the chest and a life spent with America’s elite forces bringing down warlords and war criminals, despots and dictators. In Colombia, his task force hunted the notorious drug lord Pablo Escobar. In Panama, he helped capture the brutal dictator Manuel Noriega, liberating a nation. From Vietnam to Iran to Mogadishu, Lt. General Jerry Boykin’s life reads like an action-adventure movie. Today he is an ordained minister with a passion for spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and encouraging Christians to become warriors for God’s Kingdom.

Patrick Morley, Ph.D For three decades Patrick Morley has been regarded as one of America’s most respected authorities on the unique challenges and opportunities that men face.

After spending the first part of his career in the highly competitive world of real estate development, Patrick has been used throughout the world to help men think more deeply about their lives.

In 1973 Patrick founded Morley Properties, which, for several years, was hailed as one of Florida’s 100 largest privately held companies. During this time he was the president or managing partner of 59 companies and partnerships.

Every Friday morning since 1986, Patrick has taught a Bible study to approximately 5,000 men —150 men live in Orlando, Florida and the others through a Video Bible Study webcast over the Internet in all 50 states and throughout the world.

In 1989 he wrote The Man in the Mirror, a landmark book that poured from his own search for meaning, purpose, and a deeper relationship with God. With over 3,000,000 copies, this best-selling book has captured the imaginations men worldwide, and was selected as one of the 100 most influential Christian books of the twentieth century. He has written 18 books—six of which have received critical acclaim—and has readers in over 48 countries.

Throughout the course of the study, men will learn how to clearly define manhood and will finally be able to give a zealous answer to the questions, “What is a man?” and “What am I living to be?” This captivating journey helps men resolve wounds from their past, embrace a biblical definition of manhood and develop their own personal manhood plan.

It is our goal to train and equip Men to embrace a biblical definition of manhood. Those men and Pastors participating from neighboring churches will have the opportunity to take Men’s Fraternity back to their own churches and develop a powerful Men’s Ministry. So, let’s “Man up and Make a difference…Together!”

Greg Vaughn, Letters from Dad
Greg Vaughn is the president of Grace Products, a leader in the production and distribution of Christian films for thirty-two years. He is also an Emmy award-winning film producer and founder of Letters from Dad, which helps men leave a legacy of faith, hope, and love to their families through the lost art of letter writing.

Chuck Stecker, A Chosen Generation
Chuck Stecker is the President and Founder of A Chosen Generation and has recently written a book for parents and leaders about Rites of Passage entitled, Men of Honor & Women of Virtue, Raising Kids to Keep the Faith. Chuck previously served in key leadership positions as an Army Lieutenant Colonel including three years on the Joint Staff in the Pentagon. After his retirement, he served with Promise Keepers for three years as a Regional Director. He is a contributing author to Effective Men’s Ministry and serves as an adjunct professor at Denver Seminary. He and his family live in Littleton, CO.
